TFF’s Ethos

Our True North that Transforms Lives

At The Fulfilled Fork we believe that we are what we eat; mind, body & soul. That’s why we support and honor you in your wholeness, as you unwind from old stories and limiting beliefs, and dish back up on your terms.

Our ultimate vision: we believe in cooking up a world where epigenetic and trauma-informed prevention and treatment is healthcare’s starter for true physical and mental well-being.

TFF’s Healing Philosophy

Healing: A Lifelong Journey

Healing is not a TV Dinner; although that would be convenient! Healing is, instead, akin to a 12 course meal; taste tested, prepared to perfection, then refined again. The journey of healing is an artistic experiment that spans your life. It’s an understanding of the connection and nuance that exists between your environment, physical body, and inner-being.

Stirred up fully with a pinch of inner-knowing and splash of self-respect, healing is an ever-evolving concoction of community and self-trust.

A Taste of My Story

(And How it Brought Me to Serve You in Yours)

Haley’s Story

I may be a woman of many passions, professional titles, and odometer miles; but, put simply, there is nothing that makes me come alive like supporting folks as they embody a meaningful existence in their mastery.

In 2022, I started The Fulfilled Fork to not only actively evolve the mental and physical healthcare system (by infusing it with personalized, holistic wellness that honors the mind, body, and soul connection), but to share the support and resources that I wish I had when darkness became greater than my desire.

The truth is that I believe that we are so much more than our trauma. However, I am also humble enough to realize that we are who we are because we’ve overcome what we’ve endured.

Personally, my story has cracked me open to a greater purpose. But my path to get here was not all meditation, self help books, and organic recipes (wouldn’t that be nice?!). It took years of endless trial-and-error and hard work to heal just enough to find the courage to step into alignment.

And if you’re reading this, I can imagine you’re in a similar place too.

You see, even at a young age, I was deeply disconnected from my body and emotions (hellooooo, conditioning!). From debilitating anxiety and being skinny shamed to receiving a Hashimoto’s autoimmune thyroid disease diagnosis at thirteen; a pill, settling for symptoms, and “you’re just going to have to learn to deal” became my normal. I tried quick “fixes”: hormonal birth control, elimination diets, antidepressants, YOU NAME IT. However, no matter what I committed to or who I went to for help, it seemed as though all I ever walked away with was deeper frustration and no lasting answers, yet I still had an overwhelming feeling that something wasn’t quite right in my body. That this was not the life I had to settle for. Eventually the frustration morphed into self-abandonment.

Blame it on curiosity or desperation to serve my unique needs in a way that conventional medicine couldn’t, but I turned to nutrition. Upon joining the high school track team, I started researching how to not only optimize my body for performance, but also how to treat the underlying problems of my autoimmune disease and cystic acne through nutrition-based lifestyle changes. I was ready to rise above misery (and feel good, damnit!). My experimentation with holistic wellness back then provided me with a purposeful foundation that inspired me to become a registered dietitian nutritionist. But, like most of us, I had to get chewed up and spit out by the real world first.

Fast forward: 10 years, a handful of toxic relationships, panic attacks, multiple sexual-related traumas, and chronic depression coupled with intrusive suicidal thoughts; and I hit. rock. bottom.

Don’t worry… the self critical perfectionist in me TRIED to pretend that everything was okay so that I could continue to check boxes in school and life like nothing was wrong. However, my shame and self-hate became so severe and my nervous system became SO activated that I genuinely couldn’t even wake up without my heart pounding out of my chest.

There was no more hiding. I needed fu*king help.

In the fall of 2019, I started seeing a trauma-informed counselor regularly. This incredible human not only held a space for me to feel seen, heard, and validated, but she supported me as I began turning my pain into purpose. Her care and reflection literally changed my life.

I: stepped into radical self-responsibility, prioritized my mental and physical health, invested in relationship coaching, started a regular journaling practice, found the courage to start a new job in a new state, broadened my community, practiced new techniques to manage ADHD (newly diagnosed) and anxiety, got a dog (you’ll meet Badger soon enough!), picked up old hobbies that once brought me immense joy, opened up to spirituality, and traveled far.

For the first time ever, I began expressing my authentic self to the world. And I was falling wildly and madly in love with who I was becoming. Who I always was in my truth.

But I didn’t do it alone. And you don’t have to either.

Listen, the goal behind sharing my story is not for attention or to retraumatize anyone (including myself!).

My intention in sharing this is to give hope to those folks who have stood in similar kitchens or are lost in the shadows just like I was.

Know that when you gather at The Fulfilled Fork for inclusive, individualized holistic nutrition and mental wellness, you will be granted a divine safe space of your own making.

Somewhere where you can: cry, burn the popcorn, heal, unwind, stumble, change your mind, start over, expand your existence, connect with community, dish up your highest potential, eat what’s in front of you, and celebrate bravely in all your worth.

Together we will find simple and sustainable solutions for your unique body’s blueprint so that you can slice through the ups and downs of life and turn up the heat on your highest potential.

Because you deserve to live a flavorful and fulfilled life.

Let’s feast!

With a full heart (but always room for dessert),

– Haley

Fun Facts

Get to Know Haley

My favorite (of many) hobbies is photography. I love photographing landscapes, boudoir, brands, and folks with adventurous lifestyles.

I used to hurdle and coached high school track for 5 years! These days I love outdoor activities like biking, paddle boarding, hiking, and skiing (to name a few). Movement makes me come alive!

My headphones are one of my favorite items on earth (and have been since childhood!) I’m probably listening to music, podcasts, or books – don’t get me started on my top picks!

I’m an introverted extrovert aka a 2/4 Emotional Generator for all of my fellow human design nerds.

Most of my weekends are spent traveling with my dog (and best bud!), Badger, in my camper converted 4Runner. I absolutely adore exploring mountains, waterfalls, lakes, rivers, and deserts….nature is my heaven.

I often have to get creative with meals because I wait to go to the grocery store until I absolutely HAVE to. Why? Because it’s a lot of effort, and, well…it’s crowded. Shout out to my fellow headphone-wearing nighttime grocery shoppers!

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this therapy?

No, TFF’s services are not therapy, and Haley is not a therapist or counselor. Haley is a registered dietitian nutritionist and mental health lifestyle coach. You should not stop seeking therapy or counseling. In fact, we highly recommend finding a therapist or counselor as a part of your care team if you do not have one already. Regularly seeing a counselor is one of the absolute best things Haley ever did for herself!

As a note, nutrition and lifestyle solutions are a piece of the health puzzle, but many people need additional support such as medications and a comprehensive care team that may consist of any or all of the following: counselor or therapist, primary care provider, psychiatrist, dietitian, and friends/family for support (to name a few).
